The Japan-Norway project is a collaboration with architect Nicolas Croze, where we look at similarities and inequalities between

Japanese and Norwegian traditional wood architecture. Despite the geographical distance between these countries, it is surprisingly

many similarities!

We have been on two study trips in Japan, and one in Norway. The project has so far resulted in an exhibition and workshop in Japan, lectures in Norway, and a reportage from the trip. (click on image for a closer look)
